Chargers Take 5th Place at Victoria Country Club
Cypress finishes with a 293 team score.
RIVERSIDE, CA – Cypress College men's golf competed at the Riverside City College Host on Monday at Victoria Country Club, finishing fifth overall in a competitive field with a team score of 293.
The Chargers were led by a strong performance from Aden Henry, who fired a 2-under-par 70 to pace Cypress and finish among the top individual scorers of the day. Ian Shahwan followed closely behind with an impressive round of 71, giving Cypress a solid one-two punch at the top of the lineup.
Teegan Cole added a 75, while James Luther and Dino Torres each carded rounds of 77 to round out the team scoring. Asher Graff also competed for the Chargers, finishing with an 84.
As a team, Cypress battled in a tightly contested middle of the standings, finishing just three strokes behind third-place Riverside City College and Orange Coast College, who tied at 290. College of the Desert took top honors with a team score of 275, followed by Victor Valley at 281.
