Chargers Place High in SoCal Dive Regionals
Cypress's regional performance sends divers to state.
CYPRESS, CA - The Cypress College women's diving team delivered a strong performance in the SoCal Dive Regionals, highlighted by a state qualification and multiple top finishes across both diving events.
Joanna Cruz led the Chargers with a standout showing, earning qualification to the 3C2A State Meet in the 3-meter dive. Cruz secured a 3rd place finish in the event, solidifying her spot among the conference's top competitors.
Teammate Analyn Farro also turned in an impressive performance, finishing 4th in the 3-meter dive, narrowly missing the podium while contributing to Cypress' depth in the event.
In the 1-meter competition, Farro captured a 3rd place finish, while Cruz followed closely with a 4th place finish, as the duo continued to pace the Chargers with consistent results across both boards.
